“On this Shabbat evening we will be finishing the Book of Exodus. Moses appoints artisans to complete the artwork of the Tabernacle. This art stands alongside the music of the Levites as a sacred form of service to the Divine. Art, in all its forms, has a special place in our lives and in our community. I invite everyone to bring a piece of art – it can be a painting, poem, a piece of music, a baked item or any other art form — to share with the Coalition community on our Shabbat Zoom. We will make time during our service to celebrate the ways in which art continues to play a special role in our lives and in our Jewish experience.”
