On behalf of WCOC, the Coalition will be organizing a food drive in Washington and we need volunteers to assist. Please contact Ilene Leff (ileneleff@gmail.com) if you are able to join and help on Sept 11.
Other opportunities to support this effort will be on September 25 and October 23. The WCOC program is very “volunteer-friendly:” you can volunteer on your own or with a partner. You can cover the full market (10am – 1pm) or a shorter shift. All required materials are already available — signage, table, collection jar, etc.). All we need is you!
